Becoming an APLA Member

The Association for Political and Legal Anthropology invites anyone interested in APLA activities to become an APLA member. APLA members receive the Political and Legal Anthropology Review (PoLAR), published twice a year. The cost for individual APLA membership is $35.00, $15.00 for students; APLA members must also be members of the American Anthropological Association (AAA). Non-members may subscribe to the Political and Legal Anthropology Review for a fee. Membership and subscriptions are handled by the AAA and not by the APLA. Checks should be made out to The American Anthropological Association and sent (along with the applicant’s name, address, phone and/or fax, and e-mail address) to:
