AN Co-Editor Needed

The Association of Political and Legal Anthropology (APLA) Section News for Anthropology News is soliciting self-nominations for a new contributing co-editor! Chandra Middleton is transitioning out this role and we are looking for someone to fill the position. The position is a two-year term, beginning in late November 2020 (traditionally at the end of the AAA Annual Meeting), and entails soliciting contributions from potential authors, managing an editorial pipeline, and working closely with authors, co-editor, and the Anthropology News editorial team.

In addition to offering a great opportunity to develop your editing skills, this position also offers the opportunity to learn about the diversity and depth of political and legal anthropological research being conducted by the field and to engage with our dynamic scholars. The new co-editor will be working with the wonderful Dr. Melissa Maceyko.

If you or someone you know would like to be considered for this position, please email Chandra Middleton (clmiddle@uci.edu) with an expression of interest and a representative writing sample. We will review applications on a rolling basis.
