Panel 2: The Indeterminacy of Anthropological Translations

This panel explores the indeterminacy of translation not as an abstract problem, but by looking at concrete practices of translation in particular contexts. More specifically, it trains attention on anthropological translations and the danger of their tacit reinforcement of the inequality of languages, including our picture of what language is.
